1. Work Off-Campus
With a valid study permit, foreign students can work for employers outside the campus for up to 20 hours per week during regular academic sessions. Meanwhile, during summer, spring, winter breaks, and etc, students are allowed to work full time.

Studying in a vocational, professional, or academic training program that will last for at least six (6) months and leads to either a degree, certificate, or diploma.
Have resumed an academic session and provides a satisfying academic standing as determined by the institution

2. Work On-Campus
Foreign students with a valid study permit can also work on campus if they are studying full time. Below are the following conditions they must meet to work on their school campus.

A valid study permit
Social security number
Be a registered full-time post-secondary student at a:
public post-secondary schools, such as a university, college, or CEGEP in Quebec
a private college-level school in Quebec that operates under the same rules as public schools, and is funded at least 50% by government grants.
Attend any Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law
3. Co-op/internships
International students in Canada can still work at the Co-op/Internships if their study program requires a compulsory work placement or internship as part of their study program.
